Welcome to St. Clare of Assisi Council 2004-2005 & 2007-2008 Virginia State KofC "Outstanding Website of the Year" Award Winner Want to run a Program? Click here to find out how to do it! A Knights initiative "ServiceTogether" seeks to connect individuals with the volunteer organizations that deal with the projects and issues those volunteers are most passionate about. Service groups become more effective in their missions and the experience becomes more rewarding for volunteers when the right volunteer is matched with the right organization. To find out more go to http://www.servicetogether.org/ A message from the Grand Knight: Welcome to our council website! Our Council is relatively young, having completed seven years of service. We started with 34 brave and pious men in the summer of 2001. Since then our numbers have more than doubled, as currently we have 63 Catholic gentlemen as members of our council; we are looking to increase that number significantly this Columbian Year of July 2009 - June 2010. If you are interested in joining our ranks consider yourself asked to join. Use the Contact Us link above and we will get back to you directly. You will probably be surprised at the benefits and rewards of being a member of the Knights of Columbus. Elsewhere in this website, you will find some of the many examples of how our young council continues to be an active member of our Church and our community. Over the last eight years, we have steadily increased our program involvement and continue to look for new and varied ways to provide service. We are proud of our achievements. We also ban together socially from time to time along with our ladies, which has developed a strong camaraderie within the council. If you are a practical catholic gentleman aged 18 years or older, we welcome you to join our ranks. You won't be disappointed.Vivat Jesus!
