New Knights

Our Chancellor, George Alexa, has been hard at work recruiting new Brother Knights for our Worthy Order. On January 18, 2005, five new Knights joined our Council. What's more, is that four of these Knights are already Second Degree members (the fifth was undergoing a surgical operation)! Talk about motivation and dedication! Way to go!

Christopher Grecek		Currently a 2nd Degree Knight Resident of Manassas, VA Born and raised in Portage, PA Married 8 years to wife Marianne Works as an IT Specialist Fan of Red Sox, Steelers, and Pittsburg Panthers Enjoy golf, fishing, and bowling
Howard Hayghe		Currently a 2nd Degree Knight Long-time member of the parish
John Hickey		Currently a 2nd Degree Knight [Left after the 2nd Degree, but before we could get his picture (lol)] Born and raised in New York 20 years in the Air Force 17 years (additional) as a contractor supporting the Navy Resident of Gainesville, VA Married to wife Claudia Two daughters, 9 grandchildren Joined the Knights to "find a vehicle where I could contribute more to parish life." Enjoys playing golf
Larry Spellman	N/A	Currently a 1st Degree Knight Missed the 2nd Degree due to undergoing an operation. Hey, at least it was a good excuse! Native Washingtonian Retired after 43 years in Concrete and Steel Industries. Married 47 years to wife Jerry 2 Children, 5 Grandchildren. Enjoys playing golf

Meet the Transfer Knight(s):
Ron Schaefer		Currently a 3rd Degree Knight Transfer from Houston, TX New Youth Minister, along with his wife, for the St. Clare of Assisi Parish Career in Human Resources

And, of course, the Council Officers are always there to support our Brother Knights whenever they undergo the exemplification of a new degree. Seen below, at the recent 2nd Degree, we had five Brother Knights become 2nd Degrees...and eight Brother Knights to witness this.
