for the World bicycle
drive

| What: |
"Bikes
for the World" used bicycle collection |
| Where: |
St.
Clare of Assisi Catholic Church - parking lot |
| When: |
Sunday,
April 09 (Palm Sunday), 2006
8:30 am to 12:30 pm. |
| Why: |
Providing
a person in a developing, 3rd world country with a working
bicycle is equivalent to providing them with a new livelihood.
It means the person is now capable of longer and faster
commutes, hoisting more goods, and providing more services.
To you, that used bike may
be nothing more than space-taking junk in your garage.
To that individual, that
used bike is a treasure. |
